Episode 01: Inauspicious Beginnings
Foolishly, while Danny was due to put all his gears in a box and move house this week (making recording of theme and interstitial music impossible), we filled this episode with references to flash-in-the-pan pop-cultural phenomena that will be invalid in a little over the time it takes to download the episode. Fortunately for us local folk combo The Horton Wadsworth Longfellow Justice Experiment stepped forward to record quick 'n' dirty musical placefillers; unfortunately for you we kept them in the show. Listen to this if you are poor and want to know how to really ruin Walt, or you are McG and want to know how to really fix your upcoming robot picture.

I think this was an excellent idea! i haven't heard it all because it IS quite long but i heard half of it in the car yesterday.

1.- Apparently its only sound or am i dumb?
2.- How often will new ones come out? is there some sort of schedule you will be following or is it completely random?
3.- Special guests... Hmm...
anyway, thats all for now, ill try to comment further and be constructive later today or tomorrow. But in the mean time its great to hear from danny (long lost danny)and congrats and goodluck in this new project!

p.s. i think in the days of olde people would break a bottle of champagne when launching a new ship or finishing a building. I dont think its a good idea with computers...

ReplyDelete1. Yes sir, it's only sound. Having mastered the visual media, we decided to pay tribute to many of our influences by going back to our roots, bringing in a bold new producer, and doing some audio-only stuff. If you want a photo of Danny to look at while you listen, I'm sure that can be provided. He might even sign it.
2. We hope to keep to a fortnightly schedule, but in this context "hope" can perhaps be read as "will quickly fail".
3. Your suggestions, as in all areas, are welcome.

ReplyDeleteOk, so i finished listening yesterday and honestly its very good. i almost slammed into the car infront of me when you guys made fun of T4 terminator salvation requiem. that was hilarious.
i think that plates with photo food on them is quite interesting(food not the presidents, thats just weird XD)

1.- ok, sound only is just as cool. im not sure what to think of the photo thing, did i sense sarcasm... or is it weird that i think thats weird :)
2.- 15 days!!! damn.... but i guess alot of work goes into it so who am i to complain.
3.-You tom are quite eloquent as always but danny at time get caught up with words like "umm", "like" and such. but thats just me being bitchy...

about names, once, for some odd reason i ended up in a lawyers office and we were talking about weird ass names some that i remember were Aniv de la Rev (short for aniversario de la revolucion) robocop, Dolar (like u.s. money)
and some other ridiculous ones i cant remember at the moment.
anyway im on to college, see you guys around. Tom, i asume you'll still youtubing or...?
