Danny's audio quality deteriorates over the course of the episode, which I blame on the chicken. We start out namechecking our #1 fan and end up harshly critiquing his country's plumbing. The free huggs thing has a message and "deeper meaning" obviously, but your take on the subject was very entertaining.

The mayor is a corrupt idiot. I think it was the Romans who said "to the people ,bread and circus." Yes, the money could definitely be better spent elsewhere.
I had no major problem with the sound, it was very "listenable." All in all a very cool second installment.

ReplyDeleteWell, it IS true, there is a little trash can but no one really uses it for shit paper, theres usually a section of newspaper or something in it. when i say no one you must understand that socioeconomic levels in mexico are very extreme. so yea i guess it can happen that your in a shity place and you see that but not in my world.(that sounded super elitist, but im not really...)
but you could have talked about awesome stuff instead of literally shit. : )

ReplyDeleteI really liked what I saw when I was there, I was only in touristy-super-resort town Cancun though. So I don't think I got a very good idea of what the country is actually like.

ReplyDeleteCancun is pretty cool, , i have a summer house there and i tend to go there often for R&R, not so much for the partyboy lifestyle though i do like my drinks.Next time try to visit so of the surrounding areas which are quite beautiful and interesting.

The thought occured to me while listening to the podcast, and I remembered Tom's review of the new album.
