Episode 03: Adaptation

We honour that fucking The Watchmen movie by discussing other things that should be adapted. We find a treasure trove of musical statistics, and you can read along in your book; you will know it is time to turn the page when you hear the chimes go like this. Listen to this episode if you want to win a signed photo of the Like a Mad Dog Running Through a Puddle of Gravy fellas, or an unsigned episode featuring Li'l Joseph Mack.

In all likelihood neither is this.

  1. Hey guys!
    XP IRL... interesting concept.

Exactly! peanut butter goes great with anything, well almost anything.
Tom, the trick with tomatoes in a sandwich is to cut out the seed type thingies. Or use Joey's(friends) middle piece of bread in the sandwich to absorb all the juicy awesomeness.

1; rumncoke is awesome!!! though vulgar...
2; people here drink energy drinks like redbull nshit and mix it with vodka and that usually doesn't end well after a few. I think they taste like crap.

    honesty points= XP

FUCK.. i love green day, but then again that chart guy is dumb. btw putting visual material to go along with the visual is a great idea.

steven seagal could make a good game, like a metal gear type but a bit "iffy-er"

its cool you got a youtube wonder superstar to make a guest appearance.

i hope someone gets to doin that challenge sometime and i somehow end up with that signed pic. :)

anyway really great show!seriously! oh, and I may have gotten carried away with the comments but i wrote them while i listened.
    best of luck!

  2. Wow,
I knew the two of you are very knowledgeable when it comes to music, but I wouldn´t have thought that you have such strong feelings towards some bands. Angry, angry young men...

Funny thing to say the music you listen to is linked to your IQ. Doesn´t mean much though, if you like to listen to very different musicians...
Or does the opposite apply then and your IQ changes with the songs you hear? Now that could lead to some interesting inventions....

    Hear you in two weeks

  3. Nah. Music doesn't make you smart or dumb, elsewise Tool fans would be as smart as they think they are. The test does say it's not scientific and isn't offering a causal link so much as an interesting series of observations... but that's nowhere near as fun a paradigm to operate under.

  4. Also, we are both big Green Day fans, and we're the smartest guys in the room. Do you think they would've placed differently if this study had been done twelve years ago? How about The Offspring? Tom is going to see Rise Against in a couple weeks and we both think this means he's probably a genius... except he also went on a massive mission to see My Chemical Romance and it was AWESOMES.

  5. green day is just awesome. cant wait for their new album, i hope they revert to their oldschool style but if they stay like American idiot which i doubt, would be cool as well.

i just recently started paying attention to chemical R and i think it IS quite decent.

the offspring also defined a stage in life but sadly they haven't made shit for some time now :(

suddenly a fortnight seems like a bit more than usual... fuck einstein and his damn relativity!
    cya around...

  6. I agree with you on Green Day. From the Offspring I only like "Self Esteem", and that may be due to nostalgic reasons...
I don´t know shit about My Chemical Romance, but it has been mentioned so often lately that I have to check them out.

  7. If we're talking Green Day and the old-times Offspring, I must recommend you gents peep some Rise Against. Start with Sufferer and the Witness, their most epic and Offspring-grown-up-right-esque.

Also, hello, new GD has Butch Vig involved, I'm a party like it's 95.
